One man, 100 miles, One day

I came across and interesting article about a chiropractor in California involved with the Western States 100 Ultra marathon. What struck me is the extreme nature of this event. The chiropractor participated in this event as well as providing chiropractic adjustments to participants even multiple times. I found this interesting as I had made acquaintance with Floyd Patterson's (the former heavyweight champion) chiropractor who used to adjust him twice a day. It seems to me the need for care can be at a greater frequency than what people really think they need.

Chiropractic to be more available in military

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed H.R. 5658, a bill authorizing defense programs for fiscal year 2009. Approved by the full House on May 22, 2008 following passage by the House Armed Services Committee on May 14, section 704 of the bill makes clear that chiropractic care is a standard benefit for all active duty military personnel and directs the Secretary of Defense to make such care available.
