Well care campaign

Chiropractors in New York and Ohio are creating a campaign to turn people on to wellness and more specifically chiropractic. One of the celebrities supporting this campaign is former New York Giant and NFL Hall of Famer Harry Carson. He said that it is no secret that chiropractic helped him immensely during his thirteen playing years and is an integral part of his routine today. Other stars include linebacker Chris Spelman and Olympic Gold Medalist Butch Reynolds.

Two Benefits of Chiropractic

I usually tell people that the spine is part of the skeletal frame and when the spine is out of alignment, it changes the amount of stress on muscles, ligaments and tendons. It can even change the amount of pressure on internal organs. This stress left long enough will effect the entire body.

Also, the nervous system is encased in the spine and alterations in the spinal structure either directly or indirectly ( through swelling, inflamed muscles, etc)
can put pressure on the nerve system. The nervous system controls every cell, tissue, and organ in the entire body. This is why a subluxation of the spine can affect your overall health.

It can be a lot more complicated to explain all the mechanism of how the above happens; suffice it to say though, it is a good idea to make sure your spine is in alignment on a regular basis.

Dancer for Celine Dion

Tina Cannon, who stars in Celine Dion's " A New Day " in Las Vegas believes in a proactive approach to health. She mentions as a dancer she is tremendously aware of her body and when she is out of alignment or or when she does not have the proper range of motion or when she feels pain in the extreme range of motion. She finds that chiropractic is extremely important in maintaining health. Maintenance for her is once every two weeks although if she feels something go out of alignment she will get adjusted sooner.

Tune ups

Chiropractic tune ups can serve many purposes.
Here are three.
1. Evaluate the state of your body even if you have no known problem.
2. Address major or minor problems, you currently have, but haven't worried about.
3. Prevent future problems that can and likely will arise from your joints being out of alignment and not functioning at 100%.
